We made sure the Carolyn "Baloney" Maloney didn't get this through the first time. Let's make sure it doesn't happen again.

Don't know how far it will get this time, but Dennis Rehberg helped kill this bill in committe last time. I hope he is there for us again this time. Lat time, he did say (something like) "Montanans should have control over Montana. People in New York shouldn't legislate how we live 3000 miles away."

Huh?

So, are all the people who sponsor the bill from California? This doesn't even seem like it would be even remotely legal? From what I have seen it basically designates all the National Forests in the west as wilderness? Someone who know more about politics is going to have to fill me in on this one, but I would think this bill would get a collective F U from the states involved out of sheer principle alone, regardless of political affiliation. It would be like someone from MT designating all the wineries in California as "Grape Preserves". Luckily, the sheer stupidity of this bill will probably kill it again....Right?:face-icon-small-con

The sponsor is from New York.

That's what it looks like to me. They've gone and taken all of the National Forests and want to make them wilderness

Luckily, the sheer stupidity of this bill will probably kill it again....Right?:face-icon-small-con

One would hope the sheer stupidity would be enough to kill it but we all need to wright our congressmen and tell them how we feel about it.
