Rough day for the riders that don’t call Diamond home. The theme of the day was lack of attention to detail.
The first casualty came from a cat rider. After his new pull rope came untied in Pomeroy in February and had to be repaired on the trail. The poor cat never had the bolts re-tightened thus lead to it falling off today. It was unable to be repaired on the trail this time.
The next casualty came from a doo rider. Said rider failed to negotiate training camp and got stuck on the hill. This only required the skills of a finely tuned cat pilot to mitigate the problem.
Next was another doo rider pictured above. They failed to realize that only cats can climb trees and that doos just go thud.
Next was the cat turned doo rider. The doo didn’t make it a mile up the rode before it was running on one cylinder. The claim was that the spark plugs were original from the fall of 2017. It limped back to the trailer. It probably need taken to the back forty to be put out of its misery.
The last was cat turned doo rider turned turbo doo rider. His brother was gracious enough to go home leaving his turbo doo for his brother who had already broke a cat and a doo. The ironic part was that the low oil light came on a mile up the road.
The brothers apparently don’t understand the concept of preventative maintenance.
