Tony is an awesome guy to ride with and and an amazing rider.

Last year, when out with Rocky and the BD crew... I watch him, Rocky, Alan Mangum slug it out on some scary terrain in Bedford....Amazing to see in person... your pics bring it all back!!

That was back when Wyatt and I were at the same riding level... now he would leave me in the dust... any good action shots of Wyatt??

Can someone explain the cause of this river of dirt and debris on top of the snow?

Maybe an avy slid through there...that had cut down to the dirt up above.

Wyatt didn't make that ride. He was home rethinking his career as a freestyle BMXer.

Good idea. I don't think it was near any big slopes though. It was just a long drainage that went through the upper part of the basin all brown like that.

Looks like my underwear after a long day of sweating in my riding gear.

Maybe a natural dam broke up above unleashing a torrent of water and mud.

Blown pine needles and dust started to settle in at the low spots between ridges, the slightly darker snow began to melt quicker at the surface making it more saturated then the surrounding snow causing even more pine needles and blowing dust to settle in these low lying spots increasing melt and surface saturation until it looks like it does now.....craters of the moon.
