Bummer not a nice way to start the year. Specially when you got to get towed out with the Polaris. Roads are all tore up from their four wheel drivers. This will make a good base but yes we need more snow soon. I’m back home no time to go riding. Working on houses hoping to finish this week.

Hey Steve - Looks like you might get some action starting Monday, according to the weather gurus. You might even have to get the Bison out for some exercise. Have a good Thanksgiving and "Corona On".

Actually got the snow cat out today Z. Had to get a new set of batteries from Gary again. The main roads melting out and getting beat down. yes we need snow soon. BC7413A7-78E9-4018-9C5B-EC543668A626.jpeg

Steve: Saw Gary a few days back and he said you were having battery problems on the big boy. Yeah, things look a little thin in the pic. Looks like the weather dudes are gonna miss again on their original predictions -- from several feet now down to inches. Pretty lame. Hope things change in Dec.

Damn, that looks tasty. Hope you get another good hit over the weekend. 4-5 ft. total out of these 2 storms would sure be nice.

We got over a foot of heavy wet snow out of the storm so far. The grooming operation is up and running. Earliest I’ve ever seen that happen.

Yo Steve - We stopped by your shack yesterday morning and Mary said you had just taken off for a ride towards JV. Yup, damn good early season snow out there and it should get better after this weekend. Catch ya on the next go-round.

In your first pic, at first I thought that someone had went through with a sleigh in tow, but then I see that "print" is 8' wide or whatnot.
Is this some sort of cultipacker attachment for bringing up the rear of the groomer?

Ox - Not sure what attachment is on the rear of the groomer. If you look at Steve's Bison on Post #63, his front blade has teeth at the base. Not sure what he has on the back. His pattern is different than the one at the parking lot.

Yeah, there is a toothed pattern on the blade I guess.
Was the groomer possibly going backwards, just packing the trail and floating the blade maybe?
Seems like tha'd make fer a long day?

I really don’t know what you guys are talking about with the groomer but the neighbor is remodeling the old bed-and-breakfast and brought a big trailer on skis down the trail. Yes it left some weird tracks at the groomer is up and running. Hopefully they get your grooming after this weekend because we’re getting a lot of snow right now. Dumping out there today. Yeah sorry we missed you I went out to White rock on Wednesday. I was in Joannes on Tuesday.
