Coming from Colorado

We're road tripping out to the Tahoe area for some riding. We're thinking of riding the Truckee area but we've never been anywhere up that way so if people have suggestions on areas and snow conditions that would be awesome! We are very experienced seasoned backcountry riders. Got all the proper safety and avy gear and prefer minimal trail use. TIA

We are riding the Hope valley/Blue lakes area sat & sun. Plenty of off trail/trees and what have you. I have been there in the summer a ton but my first try in the winter there. Could have went anywhere but really want to try it out. Little Truckee Summit is great too. Very deep everywhere.

We are staying at the south end of the lake but riding kinda wherever it's good. Whether it's Truckee or Donner or wherever. We don't know the area.

I was suggested to try the Donner Lake interchange and Jackson Meadows.

My partners bailed on me for today. Any news about the trouble sled? Are you doing little truckee or blue lakes monday?

It was the control box. We put my box on his sled and it ripped. Boondocker overnighted him a box free of charge and he was up and running yesterday

I rode three days. Haha
One guy only made Tuesday due to electrical issue. But I rode three days. We'll definitely make it an annual trip if the snow falls.
