Cody Wyoming - ??? Relocation & Snowmobiling

Looking to relocate to a rural community that has or accesses good to great snowmobiling.....

Looking for 100 acres +- that I can cut hay on & snowmobile from . . . .

IS Cody, WY a snowmobile friendly community that you would recommend ?

My opinion it is. We just moved here about 4 months ago, but have been visiting for years. I was surprised how many snowmobiles I’ve seen this wInter driving around town. Lots of people here ride. Had a two day avy class a few weeks ago and it was well attended.

Hour and a half drive from access to Cooke and Top of the World, and about the same to the Big Horns. I'm not sure about Cody itself, but WY is probably one of the most motorsport-friendly states you can snowmobile in.

Came thru Cody last week and it was dry and 40 degrees. You'll need to travel. I hear Colorado might have what you're looking for though.

As stated above Cody is an 1.5 hour from 2 great snowmobiling areas and Cody itself is a very recreational community, as far as having hay fields and being able to ride on your property, probably won’t happen as their is rarely snow that low, will be trailering to ride. There is a great snowmobile club in Cody, the Cody Country Snowmobile Association. You could contact them for more information.

spoke with the President of the Cody County Snowmobile Association....He was super helpful.....
