I am a full Doo guy, but if they can back up that video, delivery and reliability, then they are going to own the market. But: Polaris engine. 9 pounds of boost. Hmmmmm. Better sell them with low miles.
What are you DOOing over on the Poo section. As you know my 2019 made it 3,800 miles before a ring let go and took out the piston. And let’s just say I’m not easy on my sleds. With that said I’m hearing Polaris has 8 years of R&D on the 850 NA’d and 8 years on the 850 turbo. Could be wrong but I think they’ve got a damn good motor.
Now, to be fair my 2019 crank oil line did come off (item fixed in 2020, too much case sealant used) and I lost my PTO seal (again issue fixed, believe they pinned the crank?)
That 850 motor has been pulling around 170hp at sea level for years. Now they make it pull a reasonable amount more hp (190 ish hp) at 10,000’. Point is the motor / power train is designed for the area of 170 to 190 ish hp... now we just have sea level hp, plus some at 10,000’. Not like the proven motor is now asked to handle 225 hp. Anyway JMO...
