It doesn't matter what hp rating is given, nothing could touch one last year, and If nothing else it will get you anywhere your ability will allow you to go. Mine is bone stock and I consider myself a good rider, but I can't even get close to the limits of this sled yet. And on top of that, it made me a better rider I believe.

really now what we seen last year, they are great for the lighter riders, but not what i was after for the handling and steering, but did get on the snow very well

if their hp was inline, they would be a contender, just looking for this year hp

Regional manager said the numbers were up slightly, due to the new injectors, probably not enough to notice though. Whatever the numbers are, as stated before, does not make much difference these sleds just flat out run. I love my Pro!!!!

In the great part of OR.
What was last yrs? 142 ? Ive found, as well that that # means Zero. IMO that is a marketing tool, and nothing more. When you get on the snow It all comes to a stop.
And Yes it would make me feel better to have a more competive HP# on my pro, but when I ride with the other brands I don't care any more.

nope, horse power remains the same. if you are concerned with dyno numbers get a either a cat or doo, they both are right around 160.

The Pro is not just a contender, it is the contender to beat. They are on the cover of all the sled magazines and dealers can not keep them in stock as they are selling so fast.

But to answer your question it sounds like the power is up a little this yr.

Don't feed the troll!!! I sold a 210 hp m8 pump gas turbo to ride a bone stock pro. The hp means nothing unless all you care to do is climb straight up a hill and I would much rather carve up through the trees across a cliff and meet that guy at the top so I cant wait to be on my pro!!! :D

Seems that Cat dropped hp for the new 2012 Proclimb sled. 151hp is stamped right on the side of the tunnel. Their wet weight is stamped their also.

one magazine i was reading which was like a buyers guide said polaris is at 154 and cat is at 155. but also keep in mind polaris is 25 pounds lighter than cat this year and 10-15 lighter than doo

Its not only the weight that allows it to compete with sleds with more HP its the skid setup that helps it get up on the snow. You guys are very correct its not always about the HP just think how much fun this sled would be if it was running the zuzuki 800 power, reliability, best chassis= most fun sled made to date
