WA Stemilt/Clockum Closure Meeting. Sled/ORV Affected

THEY'RE TRYING TO CLOSE DOWN CLOCKUM TO OFF ROAD VEHICLES!


Did that get your attention? Efforts are underway to close the Stemilt and Squilchuck Basins to off road vehicle use.
The El Sendero Ski Club has gotten an Inch and are asking for a MILE.
The lower Lily Lake Snowpark was closed to give access to skiers. Now they are asking to close the entire Stemilt and Clockum Riding area to ALL motorized Vehicles to give was for more Non Motorized use.

WE NEED ALL SLED AND ORV OWNERS TO ATTEND THIS MEETING TO SHOW SUPPORT.

PLEASE SEND TO ALL AFFECTED SO WE CAN MAKE SURE THIS GETS SHUT DOWN.

THIS MEETING IS A TIME FOR CONCERNS TO BE VOICED IN A PUBLIC FORUM

Please attend a meeting organized by our local off road groups to hear more about the Stemilt-Squilchuck Recreation Plan, and how you can help save our local off road recreation areas for snowmobiles, ATVs, off road motorcycles and side by sides.


Regarding the closure of the Stemilt area to Motorized Vehicles...

Make sure You attend. This affects all motorized vehicles not just snowmobiles.

Attached is the closure zone and a map of the area.

Write a letter, call and make sure you attend the meeting.

Location: 315 South Mission St.

Wenatchee WA

7 p.m

Some people have asked how to get to the meeting on the 10th. If you are coming from the South, This is in the 300 Block of South Mission. Just past the Impound yard for Dicks Towing.

Come across the Sellar Bridge, Turn Right at the First Light. Watch for the Beige building on the Right. Parking will be limited and we will try to have people directing.

they cannot close county roads like clockum, but this is concerning, thanks.
so whats the chances of them getting this passed?

How many members are in this ski club?
If it only takes a ski club to close stuff down, how many snowmobile clubs and members can it take to open some stuff up?
