Anyone ever do an exhaust wrap and turbo blanket on their sled? It can help with quicker spooling and controlling under hood temps on cars and trucks, why not sleds? I have not seen much on this topic out there.

Not a polaris but this is my doo 850. Mine seems to work very well. My buddy had major melting of plastic on his. I did mine before I installed and I have had no plastic melt. It definitely seems to keep the heat out. Only thing I forgot to do was leave a spot without wrap for my muff pot. Also if I was to do it again. Only use safety wire and don't use the stainless zip ties. I don't think u have to worry about it rusting out sense it's all stainless steel pipe.

I exhaust wrap mine and less under hood heat, and helped greatly with tps sensor issues since the turbo was so close.

I’ve wrapped steel turbo mufflers/pipes and no issues because since when does a a hot pipe get wet? For a whole 30 seconds before it evaporates?

I used dei titanium exhaust wrap. I think I used around 75'. The turbo blanket is just a cheap o of amazon. Someone on SW gave me the idea and is using the same blanket. It seems to be working great.
