So if I replaced my brake lever with a TKI lever does this fix the issue? 2023 rmk khoas 850
the pad is always touching the rotor how much the brake grabs is related to how much fluid pressure is in the caliper itself there is no release like a drum brake

They should just put a warning. Abuse your brakes and we won’t warranty them or the resulting damage if they catch fire. Don’t care if it’s you vehicle or a 410 outlaw sprint car. Mash the gas with the brake pedal pressed and they will catch fire or worse. But they won’t because guys like Burandt and Adams of the like encourage the practice.

That is the dumpest idea I ever heard of. The first time the brake is applied the clearance goes back to what it was.

This will work if the clearance is the problem but if the plunger is too long on the inside that will not solve the problem either. Might have to take plunger out and shorten it on the inside of master cylinder

Unfortunately sounds like it is.
The “solution” is in the regulatory agency approval process.
How is that a fix though?
When the problem is caused by finger on the brake riding?
Nobody is going to continue doing it if the sled bogs when you do.
If you go aftermarket tune to eliminate it?
Or if you pin the brake sensor plunger to eliminate it.
Polaris is no longer liable.
Got it. Interesting way to “fix” the issue.
It’s right out of polaris’s cheapazz playbook.
Same logic as the throttle safety switch that does nothing to stop the throttle lever icing and sticking (cruise control)
Its quick, doesnt cost much, no parts involved, gets sleds to customers faster. Sounds about right. Guess i won't have a tail light

I have heard the same thing about the power cut with braking. It doesn’t make sense however most of this stuff lately doesn’t.
