Yeah, I was talking to my buddy about it, I'm sure they will release once the sled moves more than 4 inches in either direction.
the pad is always touching the rotor how much the brake grabs is related to how much fluid pressure is in the caliper itself there is no release like a drum brake

They should just put a warning. Abuse your brakes and we won’t warranty them or the resulting damage if they catch fire. Don’t care if it’s you vehicle or a 410 outlaw sprint car. Mash the gas with the brake pedal pressed and they will catch fire or worse. But they won’t because guys like Burandt and Adams of the like encourage the practice.

How is that a fix though?
When the problem is caused by finger on the brake riding?

Nobody is going to continue doing it if the sled bogs when you do.

If you go aftermarket tune to eliminate it?

Or if you pin the brake sensor plunger to eliminate it.

Polaris is no longer liable.
