Normally I build my own plug and play items. Time is my enemy so I ordered 2 last night.

Yeah, this was mentioned in another thread. My last wire job was for grip warmers. The wires were so small I soldiered them with heat shrink. It worked out fine but was a pain in the arse. For $25 more I didn't have a problem buying the direct plug in setup from OFT. You can go buy the teether and wire it yourself, but time is money...especially when you are a dad!

Any chance of a different mount than on the handlebars? Like a console mount? My bars have too much stuff mounted on them already so I have no room.

Just ordered mine cant wait till it gets here. I am glad I found this, I was not very excited about putting on the Polaris one that never seems to work rite. I also am hoping the extra cord and clips come in though just for a little added insurance.

We have and we will! The ones we have produced are very nice on the users end, But very inefficient on the assembly end. Since the cat does not come up with a tether plug, we are working on a good solution to make it easier than the cat factory tether option but also keep the price in check. As soon as we're ready to release it I'll post it up in the Cat section.

Here's a picture of a Cat one for those wondering. Should be within a couple weeks.

great,

quick question. I already have a cat tether. the very end of the tether is plug and play. will it be easy to unplug the cat piece and simply plug yours in its place, or is there going to be much more involved?

thanks

Anything at all?

He is working on it. He figures out the best possible product, production method, quality and the most important factor, cost before he puts his products for sale. I see him once a week and I am still waiting for extras. It will come.

Maybe somebody should just make some billet ones and we would only need to worry about loss and not breakage.

Pro Armor does not offer a replacement tether, it's something we've battled for years. I have a good solution for replacements that should be ordered today and I will update here as well as the site as soon as I have them on there way. I have looked into doing billet ones but have had good success with the stock ones that a $15 replacement is a better value.
