there is less than 3 months of campaigning left, hard to see that as "raising" the 4 month old on the campaign trail.

if they win, part of their life will be in DC where they will be exposed to some of the worlds most interesting and powerful leaders. no a bad gig for a kid for 4-8 years.

I could not imagine raising a 4 month old on the campaign trail, let alone one that probably requires extra care. I have a 1 month old baby and my wife stays at home. She looks and feels like she ran a 100 mile race by the end of the day. Palin is one heck of a lady if she can do both jobs correctly!

I couldn't guess how many thousands of households up and move for jobs on a yearly basis in this country. I do not hold that against them at all if this is the decision they make as a family. There are friends, school, community, dance, sports or whatever they may leave behind all accross the country not just where they are currently living.

No, just on this site I have not seen anyone really excited about McCain, except for today with Palin. I think it would be true statement that most here like Palin better than McCain. Isn't that ironic or something?

Don't see to many that excited about OB on this site either. People Like Palin because she has done some good things. What is not good about her??

How are you reading anything negative into this? I agree, actually I like Palin better than McCain too. I might even vote for her if she was running for the top spot..

Normally I hate politics, don't want anything to do with it... but I'm interested in a sticker on my truck and a sign in my yard now.

ruffryder,

I dont think McCain is the Republican president all Republicans would like to have. He is not the extreme right wing person people are making him out to be. He is so left of middle compaired to most in our party. He however is the best choice/only choice we have. McCain is 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 TIMES BETTER THAN OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do democrates truly think this obama guy will CHANGE the world. His disrespect for our military and freedoms/rights our country was founded on are just plain disgusting to think about.

What makes Palin so eye catching for us all of a sudden you ask? Well, I for one see someone who stands for all those things I stand for. Someone who has the ability to make common sense judgments and decisions! This is exactly what we need.

Not just another brain washing, wishy washy Gov. super power hungry idiot like Obama whom obviously sucked you right in!

Why would you consider voting for her if she was running for president, but not with her running as VP? That makes no sense!

I also admire that fact that she went ahead and brought her last child to birth, even though she new it had Down Syndrome, instead of just aborting the fetus because the baby wasn't perfect. I get the feeling some might respect her more if she would have just ended the pregnancy.

that my friend shows character and is im my opinion a majot win for her ..!!

Has anybody heard about this? Rumors are going around that Palin's infant boy isn't hers but rather her daughters. Hopefully its not true; it would be disasterous for McCain.

http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/259222

Personally, I don't think it's true. Just a bunch of BS made up to try to make her look bad.

The picture they were using for the 'bump' is two years old (Published in the Anchorage daily news in 2006). Can you say attack dogs? When you got nothing, you make something up.

Not only is the DailyKos disgustingly inspecting Bristol's midriff with all the fervor of LA paparazzi examining J-Lo's or Jennifer Aniston's washboard stomachs for evidence of a "bump," the DailyKos is wrong on when the photo was taken. It was taken, and published, by the Anchorage Daily News in 2006.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - John McCain's running mate Sarah Palin said Monday that her 17-year-old unmarried daughter is five months pregnant, an announcement campaign aides said was aimed at rebutting Internet rumors that Palin's youngest son, born in April, was actually her daughter's.

A statement released by the campaign said that Bristol Palin will keep her baby and marry the child's father. Bristol Palin's baby is due in late December.

"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. We're proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents," Sarah and Todd Palin said in the brief statement.

I really doubt that the kid is Bristol's. I doubt Mcain would have chosen her if she was trying to hide stuff.

I also hope that it can be proven very quickly, so it will have been the news station picking on a teenager with a bit of a stomach....Although we will never hear them apologize.

Ya, those kids would be better off spending their lives shoveling snow in Wasilla, rather than having what could be the experience of a lifetime. As for her spending enough time with her infant??? It's an infant, it sleeps and poops, it doesn't care if it is sleeping on a bus, plane, hotel or at home and I doubt she will notice if mom is spending a few more hours away while she sleeps and her older siblings care for her. Look at the majority of working moms everywhere.....they stick their kids with strangers for 10 hours/day in daycare. These kids will now have much more opporunity regardless of the outcome of the election.
This ticket will now get my vote for sure. Before Palin I was going to sit out this election. having someone in DC with common sense who is ethical will be a BIG change. And she's kinda' hot for a VP ;)

Palins made a statement that the daughter is 5 months pregnant. Some of the news media is jumping all over it. They cornered Obama and asked him what he thought, and did his people start this story. He handled it pretty well. The children are off limit, anyone on my staff that had anything to do with it is fired. Good for him. McCain stated he already knew about the pregnancy, and that it was a private family matter, so butt out. Enough said.

I find it hilarious that republicans are more enthusiastic about Palin, then they are about McCain. Way to go republicans.. you have served your country well.

If you noticed McCain wasnt alot of the people's first choice around here and chosing Palin had an excitment to it because it brought a little unity to the folks who didnt care for McCain's "mavervick" policies. As far as serving our country...I have no idea what your talking about. Why dont you hide up Oblama's skirt and hurl your idiotic comments from there...seems everyone else is.
