Says they lost 20-35 lbs from comparable lynx sleds last year. Anyone know where all that weight came from? The ski doo G5 is only saying 10-15lbs less than last year sleds. That’s a big difference. I’m pretty sure the 22’ lynx weighed a bit more than a 22’ sane sled doo

Ok, 3kg (6.2 lbs) lost in the new skid. Guessing the 15 wide track is a couple lbs lighter.

The '22 Lynx was much heavier feeling on dealer floor than the Doos. So if they built it more similar to the Ski-Doo versions I'd believe those numbers.

In the 2023 specs for a free ride 154=442lbs and 165=446. Based on your numbers fir the 2022 Lynx, if they dropped 20lbs the 2023 Lynx would end up about 10lbs heavier than the 2023 doo free ride

Where did you get the weight specs you posted on the freeride? My 2022 Summit 165 turbo showed 478 lbs. on the MSO i was given. Are the 2023 30lbs .lighter?I find that hard to me believe.I thought the freeride should be heavier than the Summit

Wasn't the lynx na 560 and summit turbo was 569? If that the case the lynx shredder turbo out to be about the same 560 wet which is still lighter than last years expert turbo. Thought i seen 430 vs 449 on the 23 na vs turbo.

Just went back and looked and 4100 was 562 wet. Asumming 154 is 5 pounds lighter and they lost 20 so 23 ds shredder 154 should be 537 wet plus 19 for turbo if that sounds legit

I saw that, just assumed that was in euro.

This article excerpt seems to explain it. 95 octane in Europe is equivalent to 90 in the US:

The reason that European octane ratings seem higher than American ratings is because Europe, Japan and Australian only use the RON numbers. American and Canadian fuel uses an octane number derived from the average of the RON and the MON numbers. American fuel pumps have the designation R+M/2 to designation that the octane rating is RON plus MON divided by 2.

Simple math will show you that because of the 8 to 10 point difference of RON over MON, the octane rating shown on American fuel is approximately 5 points lower than the rating shown in Europe for the same fuel. In essence American 90-octane fuel would be the same as European 95 octane fuel.

Thus, regardless of where you live or the octane number on the pump, most unleaded fuel worldwide are the same. In Europe the number maybe 95, but it is no different than 90 octane fuel in America.
