Good afternoon. While the November and December outlooks favor near normal precipitation and temperatures, a look ahead at the Winter Outlooks favor above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation. El Niño causes the Pacific jet stream to move south and spread further east. During winter, this leads to wetter conditions than usual in the Southern U.S. and warmer and drier conditions in the North. While we will certainly get our fair share of cold air and snow at times, on average this winter is still expected to be warmer and drier than normal.

thats the BEST CASE forecast.
Maybe we will get lucky, but we will need EVERY SINGLE INCH to get this season properly started before December.
