Removed stock track and drivers. I've ran the Challenger Extreme 2.5 for the last 5 years and wasn't about to NOT do so again! Love this track!
Had Fastrax Motorsports do their chaincase mod so that the track wouldn’t rub.
Went with the Timbersled Mountain Tamer rear skid with Zbroz Exits and Ice Age rails, going to be an amazing combination. After seeing what the MT did for the Dragon last year I was very excited to have the opportunity to work with Timbersled again this year on the PRO. The addition of the Zbroz (had Fox Floats last year) shocks and the Ice Age rails should make this little 155 a great, cushy, reliable jumper.
Ice Age surprised me with a little engraving of Octane Productions
Cut the cool new Ice Age rails down to install the Anti Stab kit.
Went with WPS 8” wheels for the rear.
Time to torque everything down, loose suspension bolts lead to disaster…
Now time to get the Avid 7Tooth drivers installed. This was so much easier than the 8 tooth….
Lots of clearance
Then the installation of the Mountain Tamer. We strapped the tunnel up to the ceiling for clearance then I used a couple of straps to hold the track up with the tunnel and was able to get the suspension in (not bolted up) on my own.
It still took some creative placement of feet.
Now time to get the front bolts in… I am the crossthreading queen…
Maybe if I don’t look it’ll work?
Nope, needed help.
Installation of gears.
And we are done!
Don’t have any pictures of the installation of the front suspension… but here’s the final product!
Done just in time to be displayed at the Skagit Valley Polaris Winter Open House!
First short break in ride! The shocks are a bit stiff for my weight I believe, but even with that they took a few hits when climbing and didn’t throw me ie I was able to keep my line and keep going! The sled carves on a dime and the rider needs to get use to that… lol Once we get the suspensions dialed in I’ll have a more technical post about that.
