I was not really aware of that. Normally when it comes to powersports products there is a huge difference in quality between China (poor quality) and Taiwan (better quality).

Well, it's more than Tiawan is officially part of China. It was leased to the British up until a while ago, and there was a big hubbub when the lease expired and China took it back.
We actually still sell military hardware to Tiawan, and China really doesn't have that good of control over Tiawan. Not sure if they still do, but China has positioned missles and such as a threat to Tiawan. We've promised in the past to defend Tiawan in China invaded it.
