Rode French today. Did the big loop through Thorpe Lake. It was dumping snow up high. Probably about 8" of powder on top of a foot of spring snow. Wasn't bad conditions and didn't look like anyone has been up there in quite some time. We had to make a bridge to get over one of the washouts.

I wonder what it's looking like out that way now. I'm thinking about a spring ride around gallagher this weekend

Rode yesterday. 6-7 small dirt patches in the first couple miles of trail, covered the rest of the way up, but it’s thiiiiin until you hit 3500’ or so. Creeks all open. Good spring day

Nice, French been my go to since late 90s, hard to beat. Especially in spring, up knox, you can shoot up the avy path after it’s done its thing and pop over the ridge at top (tight trees) and drop into kachees side and come around…. Fun and rewarding, Lots of loops up there.
Recently been riding new spot, not a usual sno-park trailhead. Starting to see more tracks tho. Ruined my elbow 3 weeks ago up there😣.
