Some nice looking improvements.

Ski-Doo seems to be the master an incrementally improving their sleds season after season.
Lots of little things all add up to make a great sled.

No new tunnel. Narrowing seems to have occurred at the running boards and body panels only.

Really could not narrow the tunnel without going to a 15 inch wide track.

Where are you getting that from? They are using the same 16 inch wide track.

The diagram below is from Doo. Tunnels look exactly the same width.

Rear bumpers are the same gen 4 and gen 5 so they didn't narrow the tunnel. The tech video said the tunnel was thinner skin and less coolant.

You are right, I just assumed the summits also got the 15" wide track, as the Lynx models has gone away from the 16" track as of 2023 MY.

Any information as to what makes the DS4 skis different than the DS3s?

I heard longer in the front, shorter in the rear and no add on tip. I believe a little less keel

One of the videos I watched said the new expert ski is supposed to work better side hilling.

the tunnel mount scratchers have proved their worth to me and my riding buddies many times but with this new design, they won't work and i don't see an equivalent in the '23 catalog. maybe the new radiator design cools better?
