I thought the same on my Matryx. Didn't want to spend the extra $1000 on the 7s gauge, but it came standard on the Turbo. Now that I have it, can't live without it. I have guys tell me they never look at their gauge unless its beeping, usually from over heating. Big mistake to not know how your engine is performing. Would be really cool if the doo and Polaris gauge could connect so you could see where friends were with both brand sleds.Interesting that the Lynx gets a 15" wide track but the summits are staying at 16".
Also $1200 for the iPad. Cool feature but not sure I'd pay that for it

Sadly no.Does the new gauge keep track of other riders like the poo?
Not worth $1100 extra then.Sadly no.
It MIGHT in the future if Norona's comment comes to pass.
the only communications modules that have been mentioned on the gauge are WIFI and Bluetooth, both have a very limited range, so it would not be very good if they did, unless they have some gmrs radio or something like that, but no mention of it so far.Sadly no.

fully agreeNot worth $1100 extra then.
