2010-2011 M8 which lightweight can

Installed my Super-Q, sounds very nice, can't wait to really open it up in the snow. Very good fit and ease of install ( took only a few minutes, you do have to drill one hole but it's nothing). It of course is waaay lighter then the stock can and looks much better too.

Wtf? You didn't get the new MBRP can? The new ones are all polished aluminum (Not sure if that's what they are for sure, but they're all shiny. Not black.)

Super Q -16# jsut as advertised.

Pulled the Super Q out of the box and weighed it, 7 lbs.

Pulled the stock suitcase out of my 2010 HCR, 23 lbs.

Just as advertised -16 lbs.

Now lets just hope that there is no H.P. loss

I talked to Jerry @ SLP the other day and he mentioned that they (SLP) actually gained a few HP on the dyno with their new M8 can. The new cans should start shipping in a week or two.

I've been very happy with SLP's products in the past, I think I'll wait for them to finish testing and go that route. Some of these other guys seemed to come out with something very quickly. What did they sacrifice in the process?

I put my bikeman can on it sounds sweet. Bikeman said they didn't fain hp but they didn't lose hp all way through the dyno charts. But who knows with out actuualy seeing them. But i'm happy with bikeman's product and it sounds better than i thought it would.

Did you get the powder lite or the velocity can?

I put the full velocity can on and for another 30 dollars i ceramic coated it. The thing about bikeman is there expensive, it around 300 bills coated. But your going to pay 250 to 300 for any good can.
