I would go with Brent Linderman @ Arctic Edge.My M1K woke up after porting by Brent. It was like a totaly new machine afterwards.All my buddies after riding my M1K have sent their machines to Brent.If you are planning on getting it done as over the winter they get very busy.I have actually had friends say I should detune after trying my sled.

Jeff at Dakota Performance can wake your 1000 up. Very nice to deal with Call him up 701-452-4212 He also does a 1200 kit...

Any other opinions suggestions and do the above mentioned have experience strictly porting the 1200 big bored M1000. Has it been tried and field tested or is the porting mostly on the 1000's by the above guys. More opinions please.

I just got mine back from MPM Inc and was very pleased. Brian is a great person to deal with.

What about RKT, he claims to have some very good running 1000's.
Where are you located?? I had very good luck with Struthers porting my 900 1M. I would bet he has done some of the newer Cats as well.

How much is a guy looking at spending price wise going to a 1200? I know d&d's kit is right around $2000, but haven't heard what others are.

The 1000 is basically a copy of mild PSI 995. That being said anyone w/ a strong PSI knows Turbotater is the man.
Ive heard good things about Turbotaters work. I bought a used sled with Dakota porting and when i pulled it apart it was far from ported in my opinion and to top it off, the mag cylinder was different then the pto cylinder.
