That is very nice. You realized a vision of mine and now my brain gears are beginning to spin.....it is possible. Keep ride reports coming our way. Thanks.

That's really cool, and doesn't look all that difficult to do either, not like extending the tunnel on a regular sled. Seems like there will be less snow buildup between the rails with no components in the rear. Looks like it'll be fun. Hope it turns out to be amazing, maybe Polaris will take a look at it.

Just took it for a spin around the shop tonight
And the suspension is awesome!
It just transfer the power .
Since this is just a test we just notched the track-if
We would do it again we would remove the tunnel coolers
And mill of the (rail) were you put on stud protectors
Its a snug fit now.
But as stated earlier:
We have to test it in real snow-and will this weekend.

Looks to me like the approach angle is a little steep. Have you guys contacted iceage to see if they can make you solid rails?

HaHA yes i have a W/C1200 !!!(Brad built never started on a stand)
And yes the approach seems steep-But anyone who has tested a shorttrack 121" RUSH with a 1.25"track now how good they are in deepsnow (For a shortie of course):face-icon-small-hap
So this is gonna be real funny to try out.
When the suspension collapses the approach angle flattens
But if it works good we mod the coolers and order custom rails.

It was interesting to see your project as I was just at my local dealer the otehr night and he was talking about his suspicsions that this year could be the last year for the pro ride rmk adjustable suspension on the rmks as well as the switchback assault. He was thinking they would likely do exactly what you did...

First Ride today 25miles 40km.
It performed very well !
Much easier to throw around than a pro 155
Even Thou it is 25kg heavier!!
Better suspension and supertransfer!!!
If Polaris dont have it scheduled too build
It -they better start right away !
With the RMK forward steering and ditch
Some weight this is the right step in evolution
Of mountain sleds!!!

Area code 306
rerally neat build
but IMO the "look" of the rush is horrible
i really hope Polaris doesnt move in this direction for the RMK's
regardless of how well it worked, i wouldnt buy it

id go back to the dark side if this is the direction they moved in

yet....

still looking forward to ride reports etc, as custom builds are still cool and i like to see other people try sh*t that is different
