what will do this piston scoring with rktec drop in pistons

Well i will report my findings, i pulled the bottom end out of my sled and split the case and looked at the crank all the crank and rod bearings look great and roll smooth with no play in the bearings, just alittle rod blueing on rod end, so i will be replacing wrist pin bearings and putting it back togeather, i sent my mono block cylinders out to us chrome for replating and should get it back next week, also this gave me a chance to put new reeds in and a few where chipped, also installed new crank seals, i have a friend who made me a vented oilcap also.

13 stock 800 seized RK Tek

Same thing happened to me, but with a completely stock motor, put in RK Tek direct replacement pistons as maintenance and it seized 400 miles later. Exhaust side scored worse though

the more I look at your pistons the more I think it is a cold seizure.
