So you snowmobile.

And maybe you might even BE a snowmobiler.

BUT, what do you do FOR snowmobiling?

There are people who are environmentally friendly.

There are people who ARE enviromentalists.

And here is what they do FOR environentalism.

Join your local club. What? It's just a small club? It's weak, disorganized or not politically active? They are not worth joining?
Don't let it shrivel up and die. What if it just needs fresh look. What if YOU are the one who resurrects it and makes a difference?

Do something

Write, give money, show good behavior. It all adds up! Donate your time and effort to support the organizations that support your ability to ride. We are guests on most land and the Feds and eco-natzis can and will go against us unless we self advocate. Write letters and emails, go to the meetings, stand up and be heard. The trail you save just might be your own!

the least you can do is join your local club or association
even if its not the "cool" thing to do
most clubs get their state money from the numbers they have so the more numbers the better
the small amount you pay to be a member is a huge asset to the club you can join our association for less than the price of gas for the day
www.missoulasnowgoers.org

come out and help us
every year we have the same group doing all the work
starts with wood cutting for the warming hut and continues thru the year

so what do I do

besides head up several BBQ and night rides
I am on the board for the MSSA
i donate MANY hours doing maintenance
from warming hut painting and wood gathering to sign placement and trail maintenance
even help locate lost sledders
in the free time i try to gather supporters for the association through advertising
my family and myself put in dozens of hours of work to make the season a little better for others , plus a ton of other stuff
and i still have time to put over a thousand mile on this year

dare you to come help us out

and remember when you bitch and whine,, us members know who is and isnt helping us out .... not a member quit whinning ,,, you are a member quit whinning and help with the solution

remember before you complain were VOLUNTEERS not being paid infact spend alot of our own money getting things done for others.

You guys do a great job in the Lolo area, my favorite spot by far. Keep up the fight against the closures.
Thanks
