Oregon SAWS Members,

You may recall the Alert we sent out in October about OregonWild's proposal to designate 600,000 acres in Southern Oregon Cascades as Wilderness.

http://www.snowmobile-alliance.org/...ilderness_in_the_Southern_Oregon_Cascades.htm

Rogue Snowmobilers have been attempting to get a meeting with Senator Wyden, but have not been able to get on his calendar. However, Senator Wyden is having FOUR Town Hall meetings this week at various locations across Southern Oregon. If you are able to attend any of these meetings, please do so and let him know that Oregon doesn't need any more Wilderness.

Location: Daly Middle School
220 South H Street

Klamath County Town Hall Meeting

Additionally, SAWS published two Alerts regarding MT Senator Testor's job bills.
http://www.snowmobile-alliance.org/..._Landmark_forest_jobs_bill_to_get_hearing.htm
http://www.snowmobile-alliance.org/...Introduces_Forest_Jobs_and_Recreation_Act.htm

Since Senator Wyden is a member of Energy and Natural Resources Committee, it would be a good time to express concerns outlined in these Alerts as well.
