Hi guys, I'm currently running an SLP stage 4 in my 13 pro, usually in the 2-4k elevation. I find the feeling just a tad on the heavy side. I would also like to be able to make small tuning alterations as I add or remove things from the sled like reeds and so on.
This year I'm thinking of going to an autotune and the PC display screen or the bullydog setup, but I'v never run a bullydog on a 2 stroke
I contacted SLP earlier this week with my concerns and this is how they responded. I'm just looking for any more information anyone can add to this, or possible corrections Thanks
I have removed contact info from their email
Danny,
The bully dog GT module gives us more adjustability than just changing fuel.
We can adjust timing as well as a variety of sensor trim adjustments and
because of this, we have seen noticeable increases in performance. The
downside to the GT module is you are not able to make adjustments to the
map. You can only download our map into the ECU. If you are running our
complete stage kit, then this will be a great option but for those people
who like to mix and match products, building a "calico cat" of sorts where
they need to adjust their own fueling, then you will want to head in the
power commander direction. This will give you the ability to make fuel
adjustments as well as access to tuning tools such as the auto tune, map
switch, LCD screen, etc.
