Much stronger, they won't build a bumper that was the same as stock. Rear bumpers are the same as the XP.

I have these bumpers on my XMs. Really like the way they look, they are stronger than stock but don't look so strong that they should pass to much impact to the chassis. Get them before they are gone....

No, it's meant to improve handling of the XM chassis by stretching the front end out. This better balances the sled and gives you better control of the sled during technical maneuvers.
