I am not sure if this topic has been discussed yet or not.... But is anyone thinking of trying the new track on their XM?

I guess this isn't a good idea. I thought because the new tracks were 10lbs lighter that someone may be trying it. Or at least thinking about it too.

I think price point will be better on another new track that has been brought forward.

That 3.2 seems like a lot of track to turn. I am curious about the 2.8 that was mentioned at the end of the thread you linked. Thanks

I think the 3.5" pitch x 3" lug track will perform better than most suspect. I think it'll surprise a few.

Maybe I have been missing it somewhere along the way.... But in all other motorsports, tires are a crucial factor. Wouldn't the track be the comparison to the tire. I am sure that the manufactures do a lot of R&D on tracks. But we really don't hear them telling us about how the new tracks are better then the old. Occasionally, I will see a small article on a track comparison. But I feel the manufacturers should enlighten us some more on the changes and benefits. To me dropping 10 lbs off the track weight is incredible. The affects on the machines performance should be very noticeable.
