I just put in a mountain tek fix kit with wiseco pistons and a head. How should I break them in and for how many tanks?
They went on a 2013 rmk pro 800.

……..
Run 100-1 oil in tank first few rides.

Run ethanol setting first tank.
Vary throttle posistions low mid short blips of wot.

60-80 miles.

After that pinner fer days. :)

Warm up from a dead cold.
Idle til 120-130 degrees. Then shut down for 4-5 minutes.
This gives the crank time to heat soak, as it is a solid mass of ambient temp steel and not forgiving to shock loads.
Restart and warm to 120 then ease down the trail til the pipe is hot and belt is limbered up before wringing it out.

Oh and listen for det.
Get all the old fuel out of the tank and run non ethanol 91-92 octane.
