this is my first twisted i ran a TM901 d&d bigbore with boonie 2860 RG
i've heard of guys running 10-12 psi on Cutler stage 2's with avgas, I understand Twisted uses the bigger turbo I have the 2871-2 on a 09 m8

most guys start off with a general rule of what others in there group mix with.....but nothing is above figuring out what will work best for your sled
thd smart way to do it, and trust me a little deto sensor alarming is far from a big deal:
- first ride, mix with a higher octane combo, check pistons is possible
- second ride, mix a little less octace, keep going down a little on octace with each ride until you hit the deto snesor, then mix back up to a higher octace level or when she ran well last and did not hit the sensor, but understand hitting the knock sensor every once in a while is no big deal...ive found my sled runs stronger/better with an O2 of 12-12.2 at 10-13 lbs of boost

so your saying your running 10-13 lbs of boost on 100ll with your twisted extreme kit, basically my question is can my twisted 2871-2 run above 9.5 psi consistently on 100 octane at 5-8,ooo feet

i dont use av gas or know anyone who does
i mix in 1-4 gallons of 112 sunoco bepending on boost levels
the riding here in utah is 7-11K, with all the good stuff being 9-11K

would like to bump up the boost but Shain said not to run over 10 lbs of boost on 100LL
