Just wondering how the spool time is on a 3071 on an rx-1 or apex compared to the 2860. My old T-rx1 is a rear mount 2860 and I'm thinking about moving to the front and maybe going with a 3071. Also wondering if the exhaust flange bolts are the same. Any info is great.

3071 is a BIG turbo for a 1L. Better have a excellent designed header and proper exhaust housing to make it spool reasonably. 2871 is probably your best bet. You can get the t25 turbine housing on a 2860, 2871 or 3071 which is what you have on your rear mount. I would get the .86 a/r with any t25 turbine housing being they are fairly small turbine housings anyway. One reason you the Apex takes well to that smaller turbine housing is the 3 intake 2 exhaust valve head. You can put on a good size compressor like the 60 mm compressor wheel on the rs or the 71 mm 2871 compressor wheel and still have a small t25 turbine housing that makes great power. And the smaller the turbine housing and turbine wheel help a lot with spool up.
