Hello fellow riders - anyone been up to Fish Lake (Wenatchee) area lately? I see that they have been grooming, but wondering how much snow is really there.
Any info would be great - looking to get there on Saturday. Cheers!

I staged out of the airstrip snopark on Sat 21st. At the time there was about 18-24 inches of heavy wet snow. The trail coverage was good and still soft from the rain\warmer temps. Hoping it hasn't iced too much like Crystal Springs was yesterday.

Went out to Fish Lake today. Trails are groomed, not too many whoops yet. Snow is crusty and not very deep at lower elevations, maybe a foot in most places. Higher up on ridge lines (5500ft +) there was probably double that and fluffier. Enough to cautiously play off trail in spots, but we definitely need more white stuff! Have fun!

Rode out of Eagle Creek to get up to sugarloaf 2-16-20. 45 degrees and sunny when we left the truck. Icy trail for the first couple miles but got better the higher we got. At the lookout it was foggy and blowing like crazy but we stayed up high and actually found good snow on the east sides of the hills. Up to 2feet deep with an easily breakable crust about 7 inches down. Ended the day with sun breaks but still windy. On the way out 1 spot had melted through to the mud near the parking lot.

Similar to last years ride here. Warm at the truck but way more snow on the ground as compared to last year. We found un-tracked snow at the south end of the ridge beyond the power lines. Significant but breakable crust a few inches down, below the crust was deeeeep snow. We worked our way north past French Corral and used the alternate rout to get up to Sugarloaf lookout. Trail was well worn and bumpy but not crazy bad. Made our way all the way out to Miners Ridge and the snow on top of the crust got deeper and the crust got thinner. The ride out was on the main rout and that trail was very whooped out. Definately needs a groom soon.
