also something I have been wondering, with a short bed truck and then also the extension. How do you get up there to fill it with gas? mines a long bed but this morning I was wondering how short beds with the tailgate inside the overhang how you get up there to put gas in it.

one step on the tire and next step on the deck, if I have the sides out then open tail gate and one step on tail gate and then next step on the deck holding onto both sleds to pull myself up, its pretty easy.
