Etec timing help

We are wondering if anyone has advanced their timing on the Etec 800's?

I was told that you can advance a 2012 2 degrees and 2013 1 degree?

Does this have any ill effects running at 8000-10000 feet vs sea level?

I know this has to be done at the dealer, but am concerned about motor longevity in doing so. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I advanced my 2015 1.5 degree with a hi comp head and it works unreal.
