I don't have a probe or beacon and have never been out West, so it may be too much for me. Sure sounds fun though. How would my sled do out there? Would I need to change any of the setup before? It's brand new w 100 miles

price? is this near Togwotee? Sled rentals available?
thank you

Both Line Shack lodge and Crooked Creek rent sleds.

This is about 30min car ride from TML. I'm not part of this group but my group has been going out there for 10 yrs staying at Line shack lodge. Less traffic then TML but there still plenty of great snow.

The ava danger is less compared TML you get more rolling hills but there still is a risk.

Your Artic Cat would work just fine on the trails and some of the fields, might not work where we do most of our riding. You dont have to ride with us, great trail system out there, dont plan on riding by yourself though. Bring a buddy or ride with a trail group. We ride the back country in 5 or six different places. We have been riding this area for 13 years. We all have our own sleds doos, and polaris all 155 and 2.5 tracks.

Sucked last year only made it out once because the trucks were full every time my group went out, 4 door 4 guys.
P.s you staying that big house about a block from CC we stayed there a couple years ago it was awsome, slept about 10 people had heated garge.

I would be driving from work in Nd, I'm not much into trail riding though! Deeper into the trees and canyons the better. Ride a doo!

If you go out West, you will need to look into weights and helix for the Turbo 1100 for 9000+, I would also recommend seeing if you can get a hold of a 2-1/4 141" track to run. Your 1-1/4 is good for trail, but does come up short if you get into the deep.

I have always ran 136 or 141" 2-1/4 for 10 years in Togowotee and in the Snow Range.
