Howdy, Just wondering what everyone is using on their M1000's for belts. Did some searching on snowest and found several old threads on belts but am wondering are you still using the belts discussed in these old threads or have you found something better. I am currently running a 060 but find them a little cost prohibitive and explosive($179.00 plus shipping). I have heard that M1000 riders have also been using the 046($79.16 plus shipping) belt with pretty good results and decent durability, and others who are using the Dayco XTX 5032($136.95 plus shipping) with decent results. Belt will be run on a 2008 M1000 Lite weight sled, slp pipe and can, slp balanced clutch slp MTX 74g kit(6000-8000 feet), BDX black box intake, Bikeman performance fuel regulator, BDX diamond drive light 59/61 w/reverse delete, BDX light weight tunnel, BDX oil delete, STM exhaust valves, Digitron dual EGT, Attitude Fuel Controller, lots of venting. Kind of want the best of performance and durability. Also is anyone finding any place selling belts at reasonable prices. Money saved=more money for fuel=more fun:wink: Thanks Nate

I run the 046 on mine as well. You can usually find them on ebay for $65.

if you're clutched for the 060, I very much prefer the XS817. I found the carlisle belt did very well.

That one you can run, find a cord out, send it back & have a new one for $10 instead of waiting for it to blow.

Looked up carlisle xs belts and their factory cross reference is saying a xs819 corresponds with an arctic cat 2008 m1000 060 belt is that right or should i be looking for the 817?:noidea:

Did the same as skidooboyedk... packs of 046.... Loved mine, but need to clutch accordingly. The 046 with stock recommended 9000+ clutching on my 1000 was just about perfect at 11-12k feet here in CO. 046 usually runs about 200-300 fewer RPM then the 060.
