The stock 0-6000 helix in my 2010 crossfire is a straight 40. I'm going to try it at home (2000') first. And when i go west I'm going to try it but bring a straight 36 with me just in case. It seems like alot of guys use the straight 36 at altitude.

unless you changed your track to a 2" and even at then only in a 141" length... i wouldnt bother changing the helix from the 40 deg... you have way less track to spin. just put a shift assist in it also.

What are you getting for track speed? Also, what elevation do you ride at?

Just tried for 2000' 2010 M8 153
71.5 gram
140-340 slp blue pink

44/40 w shift assist
orange secondary spring
046 belt

Ran much better. Sometimes it would pull just over 8100-8150 and you could tell it was strong. But sometimes it wouldn't shift out like that and it would only hit 8000ish.

Spring bind? Should I try the thundershift glide washers in the primary?
Try the 70 gram weights vs. the 71.5's ?
maybe pull the shift assist out see if the rpm's go up a bit?
