Big Twisted Fan here on 3rd sled Shain has built for me. Currently run 09 RGTM1000. Last year on 11-14 lbs this year 12-16 since I went 174. I have the 3 post in it and liked it but got a use 4 post. Which one do you guys like and why? My thinking is 4 will carry more weight to support the boost I am running and should hold better for better belt life but Shain indicated belt life is worse with the 4 post. As with most things I do trust Shain but I want to know more for myself.

I just switched from 4 to 3 on 07 M1000 and blew 2 belts in 3 rides. Might be an alignment problem, which I have to check.

What numbers and El. do you run 12 and 16lbs and what fuel?
Presently I am running only 9lbs on race gas with 162 track at 1500-2000 metres. I'm on C111 Race.

Do you let the clutches cool a few times each ride? or keep the throttle taped until you run out of gas

Rarely is the question asked "why does the 1000 blow belts and the M8 does not"?

i got my theories......but i have an M8, so it hard to add what "i" think need to be done on a sled i dont have

another thing i would do is pack an IR heat gun and take some readings
