Snow Report for 1/12. Currently around 20 degrees, no wind, and light snow falling. We picked up about 14" over the past couple of days (most of it came down last night). If ya have a cabin up here, it's probably time to think about cutting the snow off your roof. We haven't a warm up yet this year and no snow has slid since the start of the season.....

Northern MN.
I take you had a good time there and will be returning.
We try to make it to IP at least once a year. I'll be heading there again there again in feb.
Yeah, IP is nice. Tried out Connie's restaurant and Saloon there. Really nice. Talked to a young lady named Emily from Utah that works there. Very friendly and helpful. Also talked to a few locals there. They made us feel welcome. Good time. Good riding!
Plan on going out second week of March. Probably IP, but might also go to Alpine, WY.

Yeah it's amazing how far down the snow here can settle, we can get 14" and a couple days later it's closer to 6" starting to mimic spring conditions here...close to hero snow

It's not bad, but this current storm was a bust for us. About 4 or 5 inches in the past week or so. Jackson Wy. south to Utah looks like where the action is..

Any updates on snow conditions in IP I'm heading out that way again tomorrow.

Still here, we got 3-4" over the last few days. Forecasting about the same for the next few days, not much untracked area. Even some of your honey holes are pretty tracked up.

Does anybody know if the Shotgun bar/gas station in the Shotgun development has been reopened? Last time we were in IP was 3 years ago and it had been closed down.

Yeah, we met some guy's up around White Elephant on Saturday. They were from American Falls, said they had watched the weather forecast and had assumed we would have had a lot more snow. Moral of that story is to not listen to the weathermen and stick to the snotel sites. If "action news weather team" was correct in there forecast we'd have around 80 or 90 inches at W. Elephant instead of the 50 or so that there is now. The fact is we've had one 6" + snowfall in the past 3 or 4 weeks, it could be worse, but dont come up here expecting epic winter conditions, sorry to say....
