2015 xm limiter strap adjust part

Hey guys i have a 2015 summit xm. I have a limiter strap adjust that came off a 2020 expert. Does anyone know if this will work on my 2015? My local dealer was having a hard time telling me what my options are. Is it worth buying a part that would be the same as on the 16+ and using the 2020 kit? Or buy the parts that will work on my 15 and sell the kit from.the 2020 ? Anyway, any input would be appreciated. Thanks
