2000 Summit 600 Barn find.

hey guys and gals.. I am about to purchase a 2000 Summit 600 on a 136" track with 1.5" paddles. does anyone know of any known issues with these machines. this one has just over 1000 klm on it in really good condition. kept inside a warm shop most of its life and started and ran every 4-5 weeks. my primary use will be for ice fishing and for some trail riding to different lakes.
i'll drain the fuel as soon as I get it home. any info would or advise would be much appreciated. Thanx!

These sleds are pretty much bullet proof. There have been no issues with the two exact same sleds that my son's family has.

Agreed, they're tough sleds. Still got my 2001 Summit 600 144".

I had a 99 mxz 600, The first year of that engine. Had zero problems for five thousand very hard teenage miles.

My brother in-law still has his bought new back then. Still running strong. As far as I know he’s never done a thing to it. Other than regular maintenance.
