Early season we had everyone speculating on if Pol made any signifigant changes to the 2013 motors, and if those changes made any differences. Never saw any follow up to that, which leads me to believe maybe some changes to the good? Not going to do a poll because that gets homo quickly.

Would just like to hear if anyone has had a MOTOR issue (not belt drive, driveshaft, etc) on a _2013_ specifically. If so...same old piston/cyl skirt story? Stock sled? Or not?

Had a 2013 come through the shop, 350 miles, scuffed both pistons, most likely an oil delivery issue, sent it back to dealer for warranty. Otherwise we haven't heard of another 2013 failure in Alaska, not to say they aren't out there, but far less than we heard about 2012's.

Ahhhhhh.... I wish I could say my motor ran flawlessly. We didn't have any snow in MN before we went to Cooke, so my first ride was out there. So first day out there thing was awesome until about mid day going down the the trail to LuLu, 57 miles on the sled and she locked up tight. PTO side piston the ring broke scuffed the cylinder, and head. Really sucked spending 12k on a new sled, and since we only go out west once a year, that's prolly the last I will ride it.
