I have them leftover from the XR Turbo project. They would not fit the XR, I will look into installing them on the XM. THANKS!

Have a look at the pictures, in them you'll see a very weak point on the XP, XM sleds. That steering rack is very exposed without some protection from the brace and/or a skid plate is a very worth while investment for $75

Just put all three grip n rip braces on tonight. Install is simple just takes time and patience. I ended up just fully removing the front suspension to make drilling easier I would recommend a right angle drill makes drilling the holes easier.

All in all it is cheap insurance for the S and E modules.

They also stop the S and E modules from bending if you take a rock or tree to your front suspension. They make the A-arms the weak point which is the way it should be. Much easier and cheaper to replace a-arms than modules.

Installed mine and they are awsome. The lower braces witch are the real important ones. Weight like 1lb 7oz I think it was and the top brace kit was less than a lb. For the headache they weight is nothing.

The braces make the designed weak spot "S module" stronger than the next part inline, which is the "E module". The A-Arms are not made any weaker, it only transfers the force to the E module.
