Awesome build

I love this build.
You've done an awesome job.
I wish you'd build a few of these chassis.
I'd love to own one.
Any chance of that happening???

Well see what winter does for work. Some winters can get really slow so ill need something to do.
I see your from Canada, Might work out better for you to do a Powerhouse customs sled since their out of Revy

Here is a picture of the tank upside down. Got it all shaped, wrapped in plastic, sprayed it with PVA, and did the bottom of the tank the layers i did in order are

Carbon
thin glass
core mat
thin glass
Carbon

should be strong, light and didnt cost a fortune

Won't the gasoline eat the resin out of the first carbon layer? Or are you going to put a bag on the inside?

Had a carbon tank I built 2 years ago and it did fine. From what I've read, gas is fine but high amounts of ethanol will eat resin. So I might do a tank liner. haven't decided yet

Also on the top, I ended up with plenty of Carbon so it has the full 4 layers of carbon with one layer of core mat

That thing turned out so good. The perfect finishing touches to this epic build.

Freestyle carbon work is fun, but holy cow, its a special kind of chaos!

Now for a wrap, rework the steering;) and some boosting!

This is so awesome Josh!!!! I'm so glad everything's been working out on this build. I hope to be able to meet up with you this winter in Cooke and see the sled run.

Awesome job

Good to see your sled coming together so well for you.
It looks very very good sitting there with the fuel tank and pastic on it.
What's your plan for a seat?

Thanks guys. Definitely will have to go for a ride with you guys

Loaded the sled into the trailer tonight to send it off to SCS in the morning for the wrap install. Cant wait!

First impressions are great.
-VERY smooth engagement
-Very little vibration
-The thing feels and sounds like its going to be an animal
-Im a little scarred:face-icon-small-ton

Going with a small seat that will velcro on to the top of the tank. Gotta make it first, then have it covered professionally.

Should go on the scale by the end of the week.

I did weight the difference in gas tanks.
my carbon on is 7 lbs complete, pickups, cap, return fittings

stock bare tank without fuel pump assembly is 10 lbs

i bet once the stock tank is assembled i am 6 lbs lighter!
