Title pretty much says it. I've got a couple friends who come with me from time to time, but they're not available, and I want to get on the snow as much as I can while it's still good. Maybe they're just tired of riding my brother's old Indy SKS – kind of a clunker, but buy your own if you want something better, right? At least it makes my sled look like a rock star, and it's much better than heading up by myself.
My sled is a 600/144. I'm not looking to push its limits even at that, but I do a fair amount of off-trail riding. Also, I'm not a great rider, but I've been riding for eight years and know how to stay out of trouble, FWIW.
