Lookin to pick up a pair of 44mm Lectron carbs !
Are they a good carb ?? Are they hard to tune ?
I'm putting them on a 1100 hooper baset off the 900 cat motor !

I had some on a 1100cc cat triple and they were great, I used pod filters inside of the stock (cut up) air box. This kept the noise down and allowed fresh air to the carbs without the hassle of the airbox being in the way for tuning. They also sell an adjustable power jet to work with them that was pretty cheap and 100% better for tuning.

Yes they are good. If you can find one that is cut HV port and like mentioned has the power jet already drilled you are hooked up. Easy to tune once you have the right needle, and they hold a tune pretty well.
The high velocity cut is basically a taper bore. Say starts out at 46mm and ends at 42mm or thereabouts.
