Prayers to the families. I know one of the fathers of one of the victims. I am one year older but we played sports together,scouts, etc. I have spent many days on that hill. It doesn't slide very often but when it does it usually breaks off to the ground. There is only grass on that hill. Nothing to hold the snow. Usually it gets a 20' or so cornice that breaks off. Sad day.
