Yesterday we made a return visit to 108. Place was packed. Most guys parking their rigs on the side of the road above the 25% grade and below second gate. It was great, bluebird and many places holding almost 18" of light fluff. Probably the last time this season to have cold powder hitting your face!

Something I need to share. Yesterday, we were told you now need to obtain a "permit" online through Bridgeport Avalanche Center website to ride Sonora. I'm assuming it's a more modern, convenient way than the paper permits we use to fill out at the first gate entrance. They are free and process is quick and easy. Keep the daily permit on your phone because Ranger Rick was out in full force enforcing this. Just letting my fellow sledders know so they won't be caught off guard like our group was.

Good Greif.
I hope we NEVER see the day that a "Day Use" permit ever comes to Idaho, Montana or Wyoming!
