Anybody got a quick fix for the rubber pads on the stock skis? I really like the stock grippers, but sometimes when im sidehilling, the rubber pads wont hold the ski in place, and it flips up to 90degrees, causing me to go over the bars, or get stuck.

Any quick tips?

1/16th inch thick (+-) little rectangle plate of aluminum under the rubber firms them right up.

I had a piece of old limiter strap material lying around. Cut out a couple of pieces and placed them under the rubber pads. Just like the aluminum, it firmed things up. Not loosy/goosey anymore. Will see how it works whenever we get some snow in these parts.

X3

Carls Cycle installs a small aluminum shim under the pad. It works well.

……..
Skidoo rev rubbers.

Tight fit

Drop right in

Stronger rubber compound

I tried the spacer under the polaris rubber and the rubber just rips instead of flexing.
Then you still have the problem.

So that those that are reading this don't get the wrong idea... None of the other brands of ski pads are "BOLT IN" options.

Some modifcation of the ski and/or ski pad/rubber would be needed for any non stock ski rubber used.

Just a heads up.

Even the 070 C&A mount kit for the 10-11 Rush/RMK? I thought those were direct bolt in. I will confirm when I get mine.

Mountainhorse....

Have you tried it?

I just did it, you put the skidoo rubbers in.
Put the bolt in.
done!!!

Like I said it's a tight fit.
But you can put the rubbers in with no modifications.
Start the bolt on the outside and put a 2x4 under the inside of the ski.

Just a heads up :)

Yup just put mine in, 06 rev chassis rubbers. Bolt in, just a little leveraging to get the bolt through. 5-10 min tops to do both.
